ABOUT US
The Croatian Democratic Union, Coordination of Australia and
New Zealand is a sub-body of the Croatian Democratic Union in
the Republic of Croatia.
The Croatian Democratic Union, Coordination of Australia and
New Zealand coordinates the work of all of its twenty (20) branches
situated throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Each branch has its own Committee consisting of between seven
(7) and nine (9) members, elected by the majority of members
at general meetings held each year, as stated in the Statute
of the Croatian Democratic Union. Each branch organises itself
to the best of their ability, and delivers the main policy ideas
from the official Program of the Croatian Democratic Union,
to the fullest extent possible, for the well being of both the
party, and Croatia.
The Presidency of the Croatian Democratic Union, Coordination
of Australia and New Zealand is elected every twenty-four months
(24) at a national Convention in the presence of delegates representing
each branch throughout Australia and New Zealand. The Presidency
consists of nine (9) members chosen by a secrect ballot, and
the positions held are president, two (2) vice presidents, secretary,
treasurer, assistant secretary and assistant treasurer, and
two (2) members of the Presidency.
The Croatian Democratic Union, Coordination of Australia and
New Zealand works like an organisational body, organising and
working together with the Croatian population in Australia and
New Zealand, and all other people who support and follow the
Statute and the Program of the Croatian Democratic Union.
